Very-very nice personnel, clean enough rooms, stylish bathroom, wonderful location. The breakfast had lots of selection, the food was tasty. Excellent boutique hotel in a downtown area of Dallas.
we had goodies and coffee at overeasy, it was located a few steps away from the venue. besides, parking is nearby.
In our room ac did not work.
Staff was helpful, and property was very clean.
Elevators a little slow but not too bad.
Lovely lobby, great staff which are eager to help. Location was close to Baylor Medical Center, museums and freeways.
The room was large but two queen beds took up all the space. Next time we stay, we will upgrade to larger room.
Staff was friendly.
Valet was in an accident with my rental vehicle, no one from the hotel contacted me. I have stayed at other Indigo hotels and was impressed so I brought my son and daughter with me this time. My son travels extensively for his work. He was not at all impressed. The hotel is old and while comfortable is not what we are used to. We will go back to the Marriott chain. JW Marriott, Ritz Carlton ETC.
Great location and remodel except old trim repainted & thin doors and you could hear everyone in the halls, even just walking to their rooms.
I have never written a bad review before, but this time I had to. The first night checking in they had given our room away. 4 women traveling for a business trip so we needed two beds. They put us in two rooms so that was fine. They suggested that walking to the bar in Deep Ellum was a great idea and later by several locals they informed us we would have gotten mugged going under the dark over pass! The next morning breakfast took 2 full hours, The kitchen was under staffed but we didn't even receive coffee for 30 mins after sitting down. After getting ready and walking down to leave, the manager said we would have to move us back to one room. I explained that we had conferences for the 2 full days would would be staying and even though she had no one coming for those rooms, since we reserved 1 room, even though she had given it away, she we have to move us or charge us for 2. Wow, what terrible customer service. I have worked in and stayed in many hotels and I have never been treated so poorly! We promptly booked a hotel down the street, Crown Plaza, and left. I would never stay again or recommend this property.
Convenient location, clean rooms, overall good value for money. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Facilities could use some updating/polishing. Wireless was very slow.
We enjoyed the internal architecture having once been an opera house. The location was great!
I was disappointed there were no photos or memorabilia depicting the opera house when it was used as an opera house. I booked this hotel because of the historical background.
The room we firstly got had one bed and had a view of a venting system; yet, we requested a room with two beds on a higher floor and when we finally complained, we were lied to. Also, every room is tiny, there is no space, and the rooms were extremely inconvenient. The elevators were creepy and seemed like they could collapse at any second.
The lounge bar closes too early. We didn't get back from our seminar until after 10 pm, and there was no way to grab a beer and relax. The lounge is right next to the front desk - there is a way to have coverage.
Really friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean facilities, good restaurant, great shuttle service, close to everything in central Dallas
They were doing construction on my floor and were banging hammers early in the morning.
Wonderful room and friendly staff.
The toilet in our room never seemed to flush properly and eventually overflowed.
Staff were very friendly--they helped me find places to eat and were so quick to get me a great cab when I left. Location was easy to navigate--it was 2 blocks from my conference location and only 2/3 the price of the other hotels in the area.
There was construction out back so I woke up a lot earlier than I needed to each day. My room's fridge was in the hall when I got there and was never replaced, but I saw that they were installing new TVs so the next guests will have larger TVs!
Had three elevators, only one was working. Had long waits for elevator. Restaraunt was closed one evening. I was told that the cook did not show up. Bar was close one evening also. I was not give a reason.
